HARGEISA, 24 November 2009 (Somalilandpress) – I was reading an article from the Geeska Africa this morning which says the Egyptian Ambassador to Somalia is coming to Somaliland carrying some $ 46,000 as an air to Somaliland, and will later proceed to the Pugland.
I would like to stress that if this guy is allowed to enter Somaliland “as Ambassador of Egypt to Somalia” that is what they getting at anyway.. This will be another black dot to the current Government and will subvert the Somaliland endeavour to a Statehood.
Egypt is our enemy in every aspect, and the reason is worldly known to everybody, and we shall not open any door for them until they change their attitude towards Somaliland and its destiny.

There should be outcry if this gentleman comes to Hargeisa, and as usual the President and Abdillahi Dualeh meets him. It’s shooting yourself at the leg, and our people will not forget this.
I urge all Somalilanders to fight back and spearhead through media and show this Government that the people of Somaliland will not tolerate if this visit takes place.
I urge all Somaliland Patriots to spearhead in denying this visit.

There is no such thing as "Egyptian Ambassador to Somalia", Egypt does not even have an Embassy in Somalia and please with respect if you going to write an article write Puntland not Pugland because you as writer lack credit, don't be like others who say "mesha la magac baxday Somaliland" or "Dirta waqooyi". Thats just cheap.
We should deal with everyone, and tell them our right for recognition. Closing the doors on everyone will make us more isolated.
Somaliland need smarter ideas not “thug” attitudes.
Descent comments are always welcome, but both of the guys above are not Somalilanders, and they should stay away from Somaliland affairss. We are talking about Somaliland issue here. Furthermore, the guy who said don't call us Pugland, I said to him that "Puntland is know to the entire world, that it is not your area" please go back to record and see it for yourself.
I agree there Shankarooni, Somaliland needs to open it's doors to pros and cons, you have to state your view and also hear their side and open a dialogue just locking your self in a room is not the answer. Don't listen to this guy he is in Doha in a comfort zone, you have to understand people back home dont have that comfort and you have to hustle hard.
At the end of the day, it comes down to not putting your eggs in one basket, we heard from the Ethiopians, now lets hear the Egyptians, Somaliland is sort of victim of Egypt vs Ethiopia game. Why side with Ethiopia when we havent even heard the Egyptians? Is it because Ethiopia pretends to be our friend more? They dont recognize Somaliland either, that makes them equal for me.
believe that Somaliland should not allow any financial aid to go to Puntland becuase they may use it against our army forces in Sool Region. Somaliland authority can meet the ambassador and explain their demand of self determination. Egyptian ambasador is just like British ambassador because both countries dont recognize us… However, Somaliland should not allow any money or aid pass to puntland as long as there are no gaurantees that such money wont be used against us.
I say to the writer, Please dont let the anger lead your emotions, and let us decide everything according to our constitution. We know egypt dont support Somaliland and even blocks our cause many times like all other Arab countries… However, remember our interest with Arab World is very important and we should not close the doors on them regardless of the price… We know how much SAudi decision to lift ban on Somali livestock helping us in Somaliland economically…. So, the Somaliland authority should work hard to establish good relation with Arab world and contest against the propaganda of Sharif and Pugland against Somaliland across teh Arab world.

First of all its Bugland as in Bug or fake in Somali a land that does not exist except on paper and where pirates reign supreme. Secondly, Somalilanders need to tell the ambassador of egypt in no uncertain terms that Somalia and Somaliland are two different countries. Thirdly, Somaliland does not need $46,000 Somaliland needs teachers educaters and civil trainers something egypt has plenty of and also trade agreements where Somaliland goods can be exported to egypt.
Why do Puglanders keep posting on our websites? This Arab is representing a dictatorship which unlike other nations who do not recognize Somaliland, is a nation who openly hates us. What type of fool would let a foreigner who despises him through his home so that he may give mooney to your wicked, criminal neighbour (ie. Pugland), who claims he owns part of your house (sool and Sanaag) becuase some cockroache relatives have crept across the lawn from his home in the very recent past, and they now claim part of your home.
Any ally of Pugland is a supporter of piracy, terrorism, and is anti-Somali (these are the people who produced Siad Barre, Ayan Hirsi, General Cross-dressing Morgan, Abdullahi Yusuf).
It is political correct and an Advantage for us, thas his visit and not the 46000$, thats cheap Aid. But just imagine how is he going to adress the president when he meets him. Guys stop jumping the gun. We do not want to be isoletated, but we need to be recognized, and what you are suggesting is total isolation.

I totally agree with Mr. Dauleh that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are the main players and obstacles, denying Somaliland its right to self-determination to stand alone once again as a sovereign nation and poisons the rest of the Arab World as well as the United States who respects the will of Egypt and Saudi Arabia because of its self-interest on our expense.

Somaliland Government should welcome whoever says they are coming with full representation of their Country, but when it comes to Somaliland self-determination, no Country but Somaliland people has the at most authorities to decide their future.
No Country whether Egypt or no can decide or tell the people of Somaliland how to run their country and who to associate with.
