Hargeisa– The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), welcomed a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Al Rajhi Group and Seed Investment Group at the Presidential Palace today. Both companies are global leaders in developing business and investment opportunities worldwide.
The seven-member delegation was led by Mr. Sheikh Nasir Alqahdiani, General Manager of Al Rajhi Group. Key attendees included:

Discussions focused on strengthening a broad-based partnership for investment and development founded on mutual interests. The parties explored promising investment opportunities within Somaliland requiring funding and development, particularly in the sectors of Energy, Livestock, Agriculture, Fisheries, Economic Infrastructure, Tourism, Financial Services, Insurance, and Banking..
President Cirro warmly welcomed the delegation and thanked them for visiting Somaliland. He provided an overview of Somaliland’s historical context, governance model, security, stability, and strategic location. The President highlighted the longstanding historical ties between Somaliland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing Somaliland’s reliability as a partner for both security and development.
President Cirro underscored his government’s firm commitment to genuinely supporting investment and business cooperation with all interested parties. He stressed that Somaliland is ready to host investments beneficial to the nation, built on collaboration, mutual trust, and legal confidence.
The President affirmed that Somaliland is open to all potential investors and is dedicated to fostering real business, development, and partnerships, particularly in enhancing economic relations with the Middle East and the Horn of Africa.
