Somaliland National Electoral Commission(NEC) has today announced the extension period for the issuance of voters Card in Sahil, Sool & Sanaag Regions.
NEC had previously issued a 3-day deadline for these regions(13 March 2021).
Voters who registered for the 2020/2021 Registration or previously registered in 2016 but have not yet received their Cards have a golden opportunity to pick up their Cards during the extension period , by going to the Registered District and in the designated Extension Zone.
Potential voters who were recently registered have started collecting their cards in Awdal, Saahil and Sanaag regions have in readiness for the upcoming elections.
