The President H.E. Musa Bihi Abdi has sent his Hijri New Year’s message of peace and prosperity to the nation of Somaliland and the entire Islamic world at large on the occasion of a Happy New Year 1441.
The Head of State’s message on Friday evening called for Somalilanders to observe, maintain and uphold peaceful solidarity and cohesion of national unity. He appealed to compatriots and government to jointly be vigilant against enemies of the land.
The first day of the first month of Hijri 1441 commenced yesterday, Saturday 1st Muharram 1441 (31st August 2019).
The President wished all Muslims well hence prayed for the sick and those who passed on.
He also hoped for the best of times and good health to all.
