It is with great pleasure that the Wales Somaliland Recognition Taskforce has successfully succeed in lobbying Cardiff City Council to Recognise Somaliland.
On Thursday 26th March 2015 the Motion supporting the Recognition of Somaliland will be passed by the City of Cardiff Council at City Hall, Cardiff.
We invite the Somaliland Community of Cardiff and the wider communities outside of Cardiff to join Somaliland Ministers, Cardiff Councillors and Special Guests on this momentous occasion where we will celebrate the passing of the motion and in congratulating Cardiff Council on the support they have shown towards the democratic state of Somaliland and the longstanding historical ties with the Somaliland Community in Wales since 1850.
