Minister of Interior Hon. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed met in his office the European Union political advisor for the Horn of Africa region and the Red Sea, Ms. Signe Fischer.
A terse statement on the meeting noted that they discussed the general security of the region.
Bilateral relations and partnerships between the two sides of the Republic of Somaliland and the European Union were on the itinerary.
Hon Kahin reportedly briefed the EU official on the developmental aspects and progress made in the country and the positive and good relations the country has with its neighbors.
Present was the Interior DG Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Ismael and other senior ministerial staffers.
