The international community concerned about the organization of armed groups fighting in Lasanood
The countries of the international community that are friends with the Republic of Somaliland have issued a joint statement in which they expressed their concern about the organization of armed groups fighting in Lasanood.
The international community also condemned the violence going on in the city of Lasanood, the capital of Sool region.
The international community has called for the implementation of the ceasefire announced by the Somaliland government, and for the warrying parties to control each other in order to find a fruitful dialogue to reach a peaceful solution.
The international community noted that the deliveries of humanitarian aid should not be hindered in to reach the targeted people who have been displaced by the fighting in Lasanood.
