The Ministry of Energy & Minerals has on Thursday concluded 6-day training held for staffers at the petroleum department. The mission behind the seminar was the staffers to acquire knowledge and experience on how to translate the seismic data surveys on oil extrapolation. Light House Exploration, British based firm has conducted the seminar for the employees of the ministry of energy in Somaliland.
Mr: Divit Johnstone was the expert responsible for conducting the seismic survey training. The objective of the training was meant to upgrade the level of knowledge of the staffers at the MOEM. Finally, the minister for energy and minerals, Hon. Jama Mohamud Egal has presented certificates of completion to the attendees.
