The PFM reform Coordination Department in partnership with the Office of the Auditor-General has organized a two-day workshop on the review and validation of key audit management manuals, policies, procedures, and guidelines on September 26 – 27, 2020, at Mansoor Hotel Hargeisa.

These documents have been developed to govern the activities of the Office of the Auditor-General in order to add value and to apply a systematic, disciplined approach to improve the management and effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes of the Office of the Auditor General of the state.

  8. Code of Ethics and conduct of the Office of the Auditor General
  9. Media Relations Policy of the Office of Auditor General
  10. Public outreach Policy of the Office of Auditor General
  11. Grievance Policy and procedures of the National Audit Office

Two-Day Refresher Training on Audit Manuals and Guidelines

Meanwhile, the PFM reform Coordination Department had earlier on organized a two-day Refresher Training on key audit procedures, manuals, templates, standards and guidelines for the staff of the Office of the Auditor-General, on September 23 -24, 2020, at Maansoor Hotel, Hargeisa.

The training aims to brush up the required audit skills and confidence of employees and to familiarize them with the tools and guidelines for conducting various types of audits, including; compliance and performance audits.
