Burao- Mr. Ismail Ahmed Hariir, the regional coordinator in the ministry of employment, social and family affairs flanked by NAGAAD women umbrella network and representatives of UNICEF jointly launched training course for 50 young entrepreneurs who were the finalist in UP SHIFTING start-up program in Burao, Togdheer region.

The UP SHIFTING start-up program aims to support local youth entrepreneurial talent and connect them to the local market and beyond was in the Togdheer region of Somaliland to create jobs that were previously launched by NAGAAD on the 4th of November 2019.

The group will receive mentoring and training on how to build a commercially viable and scalable technology business. The program includes mentorship and training provided by domain experts and entrepreneurs.

The launch of the program which will benefit 50 youth was held on Togdheer, the capital of Burao, at Hotel City Place, and was attended by Nagaad officials , UNICEF and  investment agencies representatives,  the coordinator of the Ministry of employment, social and family affairs in Togdheer region, urged the  youth take utilize the opportunity well.
