Somaliland Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation, Hon Mohamed Behi Yonis accompanied with the acting Ambassador of Somaliland in Ethiopia, Mr. Ayanle Salad Dirie met with the chief of General Command, Major Gen. Samore Yonis in his office in Addis Ababa in the company of two other senior military officials.
During the meeting lasted at least one hour ,the two sides discussed the overall security situation in the region and specially the two neighbouring countries. Somaliland Foreign Minister and the Ethiopian Military Authorities also talked about the military trainings that Ethiopia pledged to offer Somaliland aiming towards security sectors.
The two sides shared the same opinion in collectively and cooperatively strengthening the brotherly relation and collaboration. Both sides agreed on the importance of equally working towards safeguarding and protecting the interests of the two nations against anything that is not serving the friendly relations and in general the interest in the region.
