As part of her diplomatic mission, the newly appointed ambassador of UK to Somalia and Somaliland Harriet Mathews met Kulmiye’s flag bearer, Musa Behi Abdi in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

At the meeting, the two sides, Harriet and Musa Behi discussed issues pertaining the peace, tranquility and stability of Somaliland. The meeting which took hours was also discussed on bolstering the bilateral relations between Somaliland and UK.

The newly appointed envoy to Somaliland and Somalia also promised addressing common priorities including humanitarian, progress and holding presidential and parliamentary elections on the slated time.

On the other hand, the chairman of the ruling party Hon. Muse Bihi Abdi stressed the vitality of holding the forthcoming elections on the dated time. He urged the UK to continue their support in the progress of Somaliland.
