The Government of Somaliland is sending a high-level delegation to Taiwan. There was no official word from the government on the proposed visit, according to sources the delegation will be led by Somaliland Foreign Minister Dr. Issa Kayd Mohamud, after receiving an official invitation from the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-wen.
The delegation will include the Minister of Finance, Dr. Saad Ali Shire, Minister of Planning Omar, and other key members. The delegation is expected to fly out of the country on February 7, 2022.
