The Ministry of Finance has announced it will launch a Sales Tax machine to be used in all businesses.
Finance Ministry has posted on their authentic Facebook page stated that all businesses particularly hotels are needed to use sales tax machines for all their business transactions to issue an invoice for the services provided by the hotel along with the sales tax due.
The Ministry of Finance has urged to all businesses venture in the country to assist in the use of the sales tax machine in order to have a secure taxation system.
Introducing Sales Tax machines will assist the government in collecting appropriate tax revenue necessary for budget, maintaining economic and financial order and stability.
It would thus ensure that satisfactory returns are submitted by the tax payers, to minimize the degree of tax evasion hence ensure strict compliance with tax laws by tax payers remitted to the government.
