The PFM Coordination Unit has organized the monthly Technical Committee Meeting on December 26, 2019 the meeting was chaired by the Director-General of the Ministry of Finance Development Mr. Mohamed Abdi Gurhan and attended by key PFM Stakeholders including; Accountant General, Auditor General, Internal Audit of the Ministry of Finance Development, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) the Central Bank, and the PFM Reform Coordination team.

The PFM Technical Committee (TC) oversees the implementation of PFM reform activities of the various Technical Working Groups (TWGs). The TC provides technical support and guidance to key PFM stakeholders to ensure the realization of the reform objectives.

The PFM is designed to improve the government’s capacity and systems to utilize public funds, towards meeting the National Development Plan (NDPII) goals and those of Vision 2030.

On the other hand, the PFM Coordination Department has organized a-one-day training on change management for key PFM Reform stakeholders on December 25, 2019.

The training was designed to equip participants with the skills for facilitating reforms and creating a conducive environment to adopt change and promote the use of best practices to achieve results in their respective roles.
The training was facilitated by Suleiman Elmi, PFM Program Change Management Specialist.

The PFM is designed to improve the government’s capacity and systems to utilize public funds, towards meeting the National Development Plan (NDPII) goals and those of Vision 2030.
