All in all, despite our past being self explanatory both by implicitly and explicitly, the vows taken by the people to vouch for their security, social and political rights should have reminded the superpowers on arbitrary decisions on emotive issues.

Just as the Head of State just reiterated in the UK last week, the quest of the country’s aspirations would continue hence SL would never give in to whims against her interests.

It has to be understood that the slated future talks between the former Somalia entities has to continue in the envisioned civilized system and surrounding.

We support the president in maintaining that the talks should not be hindered in any way.

It is our utmost belief and understanding that SL is here to stay and no patriot would be daunted by any way wards.

  3. The people of Somaliland-Republic will always be remembered in Somali history as those who made all the sacrifices when they gave up their 26-Jun-1960 Independence against popular wisdom, against minority voices as the Majority in Somaliland proudly proclaimed "LAA YAA GARAAD".

    Given the chance i do believe Somaliland-Republic would use it's Recognition in a positive constructive manner that can improve peace, alleviate poverty across Pan-somali region. It was the action of popular figures and prominent elders from Somaliland-Republic who against all odds responded to the drought stricken somali people in Somalia in 2011.

Dahabshiil company commits large sums of money in development programs across somalia namely Bosaaso, Beletweyn, Mogadishu, Marka, Jowhar, Garowe, Galkacayo, Galmudug, Baydhabo-Bay, Hudur-Bakool, Kismayo, Buaale and Garbahaarey.

    The success of Somaliland-Republic can then easily be a contributory factor in the process of Regional stabilization and development. Not only can lessons be learnt from Somaliland's achievements if there is serious commitment to lasting prevention of Piracy, terror and issues of migration then Somaliland-Republic must be acknowledged and encouraged to continue to pursue it's place among the international nations of the AU, UN and their peers in every organisation. We must achieve the opportunity to proudly wave our flag among the world nations in such esteemed ranks as those found in the Olympics.

    May Allah make it possible for the 2-state dialogue to lead to the birth of 2-EQUAL state just as was once the reality 26-jun-1960 Insha'allah.

    Djibouti, Somaliland & Somalia can form an Igad equivalent in the horn of Africa insha'allah.

    • Allemgan people of Sool live also in Ethiopia and I never hear they complain about that becoz they respect border. If Somaliland did not make historic mistake to join Somalia in 60 and keep his sovergnity like Djibouti, all somalilander from Zeilac to Sool would be one nation united. Now like it or not border are not based on Qabil but on colonial border and Majority of Somalilander just reclaim their lost sovergnity as Eritrean did it toward Ethiopian. If some people did not respect majority choice like terrorist militia of Kathumo,they are free to join Somalia or Bantu /Habashi rule in NFD/Kil5 as It seem that their clan accept better lool

    The capital of Sool is Las Anod and it is enjoying peace and tranquility since the inhabitants of that part of Somaliland fully supported their country years ago. If you are talking about the few terrorists in Taleex village then that is another thing altogether.

    Do you know the governor of Maroodijex the region where the Somaliland capital is located? He was born and breed in Las Anod and was the former governor of Las Anod, the capital of Sool region in Somaliland. Now tell me can you ever dream of becoming not the governor of Mogadishu, but the mayor of the smallest district in Hargeisa? Just be honest with yourself and tell the truth for only once.

    You can not seprate and slice Somaliland and then pretend to be a Somali patriot, you are nothing but a hypocrite Allemegan, Keyse or whatever you viciously call yourself.
