H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo today returned to the capital city after a hefty weeklong tour of eastern regions.
The head of State was welcomed along the Berbera –Hargeisa highway by jubilant citizens who thronged waving country’s flags and the Presidents portrait.
The Presidential motorcade upon arriving in the capital was welcomed by citizens and school children who lined up the streets.
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace the Head of State was received by the Vice President Abdurrahman Abdullahi Ismail Saylic , Hon Muse Bihi Abdi , the Chairman of the ruling party , Hon Mahmoud Mohamed Jeeniyare, the Governor of Maroodi Jeh region, Cabinet Ministers , Mayor of Hargeisa and among other dignitaries.
