The government is said to have reinvested some of the community tax funds in the expansion of water in the capital city which was recently opened by the president.
The manager of the water agency, Mohammed Ali Ahmed, who spoke about the government’s role in funding the expansion of water in the capital, said that the Ministry of Finance has invested three million dollars.
Manager Mohamed said that there was other support provided by the government to the surrounding water sources.
He said that the opening of the first phase of the Water Project is a success as we move away from the water infrastructure that we have been using for 50 years.
