Hargeisa – A group of young people who completed a program organized by the Forum of Politicians and Intellectuals from the Togdheer, Saaxil, and Maroodi-Jeex regions has officially announced their membership in the KAAH Party in Somaliland.
The youth, who were part of a political and intellectual development forum spanning three major regions of Somaliland, formally declared their allegiance to the KAAH Party, marking a significant political development in the region.
The Forum of Politicians and Intellectuals, which operates across Togdheer, Saaxil, and Maroodi-Jeex, appears to serve as a platform for grooming and engaging young people in political discourse and civic participation. Their transition into full membership with the KAAH Party signals growing youth engagement in Somaliland’s political landscape and could bolster the party’s grassroots support base across these key regions.
The KAAH Party is one of several political organizations operating in Somaliland, and this influx of young, politically engaged members from multiple regions could strengthen its organizational capacity and regional reach ahead of future electoral activities.
