Ambassador Bashe Awil Haji Omar, Somaliland representative to Kenya on accompanied by the Somaliland Managing Director of the Civil Aviation and Airports Authority, Mr. Abdi Mohamed Rodol on Thursday meet with European diplomats in Nairobi, Kenya.
Amb. Bashe Awil Haji Omer said, “We are pleased to have met with the Switzerland Ambassador to East Africa, Dr. Ralf Heckner. I was accompanied by the Somaliland Managing Director of the Civil Aviation and Airports Authority, Mr. Abdi Mohamed Rodol. We discussed various issues on how Somaliland and the Swiss government can strengthen their partnership on areas of mutual interest. Among our discussions was the future of Somaliland and Somalia talks among other strategic issues.

I was joined by the Somaliland Managing Director of the Civil Aviation and Airports Authority, Mr. Abdi Mohamed Rodol. The aim of the visit was to discuss the development projects in Somaliland as well as the upcoming elections.
