The Republic of Djibouti strongly and unequivocally condemns the recognition of Somaliland by the Israeli entity.
This decision violates the fundamental principles of international law, including the inviolability of borders and respect for state sovereignty.
By recognizing a territorial entity within the sovereign territory of another state, Israelโs move establishes a dangerous precedent that threatens to destabilize the entire region.
The Republic of Djibouti reiterates its steadfast support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia. Furthermore, Djibouti calls upon the international community to refrain from legitimizing this action and to uphold international law in the interest of preserving regional peace and security.
