Garowe _ The Puntland Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports has revoked the operating license of Daallo Airlines, accusing the carrier of endangering the lives of Puntland citizens and officials on two separate occasions and violating civil aviation regulations.

The decision follows an incident today where a Daallo Airlines flight was denied landing at Garowe International Airport. The aircraft was transporting Puntland Members of Parliament who represent the region in both houses of the Federal Parliament.

This marks the second such incident involving the airline, following a similar occurrence on February 1st, when a Puntland delegation traveling on a Daallo flight from Garowe was barred from landing at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport.
