Representatives from Somaliland’s Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) today met with Mr. James Swan, the Acting UN Special Representative.
The representatives of the Civil Society Organizations headed by the Chairman of SONSAF, Mr. Anwar Abdirahman Warsame meet with the visiting UN Special Representative and his delegation
The two sides discussions focused on the successful conduct of Somaliland’s recent combined elections, as well as peace initiatives in the Sool and Eastern Sanaag regions.
Additionally, the meeting highlighted the vital role of CSOs in peace-building and other ongoing development efforts across the country.
