HARGEISA, Somaliland – The Director of the Somaliland National Heritage Museum, Mr. Abdirisaq Mohamed Farah “Gaafo,” officially received a delegation today composed of Muna Ahmed Omar from DT Global and Rahul Goswami from UNESCO.
The meeting signaled the start of a new partnership between the Museum, DT Global, and UNESCO, establishing a foundation for closer collaboration focused on strengthening the institution’s development.
Discussions centered on enhancing joint efforts to support the advancement of the Somaliland National Museum, boost its operational capacity, and build a sustainable working relationship dedicated to preserving and promoting the country’s rich cultural heritage and historical legacy.
This partnership is expected to contribute to the Museum’s long-term growth while fostering initiatives that safeguard and celebrate Somaliland’s history and culture for generations to come.
