The House of Parliament on Saturday endorsed a decree issued by the President on the resolution of the arbitration of elders that he had forwarded to the both Houses of Parliament for legal integration to the election laws.

In the Saturday session of the parliament where 48 MPs were present, forty-five members voted for it, while two members remained silent and the chairman did not vote.

The endorsement therefore legally and practically concludes the political conflict that has been in the country for the last few years on elections.
