Foreign Minister Dr. Essa Keyd led a delegation from the US Parliament to visit the port of Berbera, to see first and the progress being made.
The visiting US House of Representatives delegation has visited various sites, including universities and the private sector.
Areas visited include Barwaqo University – Hargeisa Cultural Center, Edna Maternity and Children’s Hospital.
Other areas visited by the delegation included the port of Berbera and DP World’s modernization work.
They also visited the site of Las Geel, which has colored pictures drawn and painted over five thousand years ago.
The delegation is expected to deliver a full report to the US Parliament as promised in a meeting with the President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi.
