Hargeisa-H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo today in his office received American born philanthropist and  U.S. hedge fund manager Mr. Jonathan Starr the co-founder of the prestigious Abaarso School of Science and Technology flanked by Mr. Henry Schuster, Anderson Cooper among others crew of the CBS 60 Minutes, the most successful television broadcast in history, which has over the years been Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast begun in 1968 is still a hit in 2015, popularly and regularly known to worldwide audience making Nielsen’s Top 10.DSC_0119

President Silanyo during the meeting hailed American born philanthropist Mr. Jonathan Starr the co-founder of the prestigious Abaarso Tech Secondary school for his unrelenting contributions and sacrifice to these nation of Somaliland and in enhancing education through availing places for SL Born students in the exclusive IVY League and other worldwide renowned  academic institutions, those students groomed by Mr. Jonathan Starr are the hopes and future of this Nation long abandon by the world.DSC_0105

President further stated, “Somaliland is bastion of democracy and stability, a fully-fledged nation, with its own currency, judicial system, army and police force, I hope you (Visiting CBS World Renowned Journalists) shall be the voice of the voice less but also you shall share whatever you’ve witnessed during your visit here in Somaliland with your not less active worldwide audiences.DSC_0148

On the other hand, Mr. Jonathan Starr the co-founder of the prestigious Abaarso School of Science and Technology during the meeting with Somaliland Head of State, “Your Excellency, the President of Somaliland, I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for receiving us here today in office but again, I would like to express my utmost gratitude for the unrelenting support by the government and the people of Somaliland over the period of the last Seven years of the founding of the Abaarso School of Science and Technology, without your untiring support, we wouldn’t be able to produce world class students.
