Hargeisa — The Chairman of the WADDANI Party, Hersi Ali Haji Hassan, today convened a high-level meeting with the Ministers of Finance Development, National Planning, and Commerce & Tourism, alongside the Party’s newly appointed Finance Committee.
In a statement following the gathering, Chairman Hassan described the session as a foundational step toward fostering mutual understanding and seamless coordination between the executive ministries and their respective party oversight bodies. He emphasized that the newly formed committees are poised to play a pivotal support role in the ambitious national agenda being pursued by the ministers.
“The purpose of the meeting was to establish robust working relationships and ensure synergy between the Ministers and their new committees, who will provide critical support for the extensive work that the Ministers are undertaking for the nation,” Chairman Hassan stated.
The WADDANI leader expressed optimism about the collaboration ahead, urging both parties to work in close partnership for the benefit of the country.
“I wish the new committee and their respective Ministers a successful partnership, and I trust that the committee will make a substantial contribution to the success of their Ministries,” he added.
Reaffirming his party’s commitment to transparency and good governance, Chairman Hassan underscored the importance of openness in all official engagements.
“The political ideology of the WADDANI Party is Peace and Prosperity. If any discussions are to be held, they must align with our party’s policy and be conducted openly. We do not operate in secrecy,” he said.
Concluding his remarks, the Chairman reinforced the inseparable bond between the party and the government, stating:
“A Party and a Government — twin entities, inextricably linked!”
The meeting marks a significant step in aligning party oversight with governmental execution, as WADDANI continues to consolidate its vision for national development.
