Hargeisa – The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro), hosted an Iftar dinner at the Presidential Palace for Ugas Cabdirashiid Ugas Rooble Ugas Doodi.
The President was accompanied during the meeting by the Minister of Interior and National Security, Mr. Cabdalle Maxamed Carab. The gathering took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding, with a focus on strengthening peace, security, and community cohesion in the Awdal and Selel regions.
The President and the senior Ugas discussed the important role that traditional leadership plays in maintaining stability and reinforcing social harmony.
The President commended the Ugas for the role traditional leaders play in peace and social unity, stating that the Government is always ready for close collaboration.
For his part, the Senior Ugas thanked the President for the meeting and expressed his firm commitment to further strengthening peace, unity, and social cohesion within the communities of the Republic of Somaliland
