Somaliland Delegation from the government has met with senior officials in the office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Mr. Boris Johnson.

The meeting is stated to have had the interests of the two countries discussed though no details were released,.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Isse Keyd Mohamud, and Mr. Jama M. Jama, a President advisor, welcomed both sides and described it as a success, with positive results in the near future as put on their twitter handle.

“Meeting senior staff of the Office of the Prime Minister for Somaliland Delegation led by Minister Hon. Dr Essa Keyd was a noteworthy milestone. More to come soon.

In the meantime, thank you MP Gavin Williamson & Tom Tugendhat, and everyone whose contribution made this mission so successful”: said Mr. Jama.

 

Similarly, Dr Keyd said of the meeting, “Another day of constructive meetings in the UK. Today Jama Muse and I met with Senior Officials from the Prime Minister’s office. I would like to thank Sir. Gavin Williamson, and Tom Tugendhat, the Chairman of the Foreign affairs Committee of the House of commons, for all their support.”

 

Meanwhile, the delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Isse,which includes the Deputy Minister of Commerce Muse Selef and the chairman of the Quality Agency Mr. Muse joined with Somaliland diaspora in UK for the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the Republic of Somaliland national day18 May.

The event was also attended by some notable members of the British Parliament.
