Somaliland was among the nations taking part in the inaugural Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference today.

Somaliland keen to develop strong trade ties with Pakistan. A two-day first-ever Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference was launched in Nairobi today. Hosted jointly by Pakistan and Kenya attended by dignitaries from the other African States.

Somaliland delegation led by the Minister of Energy and Minerals H.E.Jama Mohamoud Egal engaged with a host of high profile representatives: President Uhuru Kenyatta, Pakistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pakistan’s Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce, Industries and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, Kenya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Rachel Omamo and Minister of Trade, Betty Maina among a host of high-level representations from Africa countries.

Pakistan has set the framework to galvanise robust economic diplomacy with all  African nations.
