Somaliland Minister of Water Resources Development Hon. Suleiman Yusuf Ali Koore, laid the foundation stone for a new water well to be implemented in Biyo Guure area of the Sahil region.
Minister Saleeban emphasized the importance of the government to the coastal areas to get water.
“We acknowledge that the coastal areas are places that need more water than other areas, due to the scorching heat in our coastlines. It is part of our responsibility for the water to reach the people, the hot coastal areas like Berbera and its environs”.
The minister hailed all who worked towards the implementing efforts of the project hence cited the Al Huda foundation for being in the forefront.
The minister has just officiated similar water resourcing projects in Awdal region and at Dimbiriale near Salahley over the week.
