HE President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo has issued a Presidential Decree # JSL/M/XERM/249-2453/052014 has sacked Mr. Abdillahi Abokor Osman meanwhile naming as new Assistant Minister of Interior in Charge of National Security.
President Silanyo has named Mr. Ali Mohamed Elmi as the new Assistant Minister of Interior in Charge of National Security for the republic of Somaliland replacing the Mr. Abdillahi Abokor Osman with immediate effect this in accordance with article 90 section 2 which grants the head of state the power to nominated and dismiss of high rank government officers.
Mr. Ali Mohamed Elmi prior to his appointment as the Assistant Minister of Interior in Charge of National Security served as the Governor of Sahil region.
