HARGEISA – The Chairman of the WADDANI Party, Mr. Hirsi Ali H. Hassan, today received a delegation from the United States and the Czech Republic at his office during a courtesy visit.
The delegation traveled to the Republic of Somaliland to participate in the Hargeisa International Book Fair.
Chairman Hassan warmly welcomed the delegates and provided them with a comprehensive overview of Somaliland’s history, democratic journey, peace, and developmental achievements.
The Chairman also expressed gratitude to the delegation for their efforts in advocating for the cause of the Republic of Somaliland in their respective countries and communities. He underscored the importance of continued and strengthened support from international partners for Somaliland’s statehood aspirations.
In response, the delegates thanked Chairman Hirsi Ali H. Hassan for his warm hospitality and conveyed their deep admiration for the peace, democracy, and progress Somaliland has achieved. They commended the government and people of Somaliland for their dedication to nation-building and affirmed their commitment to continuing to share the facts about the Republic of Somaliland with institutions and citizens back in their home countries.
